What We Do.
We provide a healthy main meal and pudding freshly packed and delivered to your door. Meals not only include a delicious main and dessert, but often homemade treats and even small bunches of flowers are added.
Special occasions have been marked to help make clients feel special and part of the world around them. For example, Easter eggs and flowers over Easter, a sandwich, cream tea and Union Flag on VE Day, birthday cakes and cards, get well cards and flowers for anyone that is poorly. Our chefs prepare meals in a strict clean kitchen environment. We adhere to government guidelines concerning social distancing. All chefs hold current Food Safety & Hygiene Certificates and conform to current County Council guidance on food prep. We want to ensure all of our food is freshly prepared and delivered with care. Our drivers get to know the clients that they deliver too, they check in with them daily and make sure their clients have everything else they need, reporting back any concerns. We call everyone, for their meal choices for the next day and can often pick up concerns and worries. Additionally, we can help our clients access extra services such as ‘Befriending' phone calls for the lonely, books and DVD’s, armchair exercise, help with gardening, dog walking and more. Please contact us if you have a particular need and we will try to help you if we can. Our volunteers 'go above and beyond' to make sure that those receiving our food know that we care and that they matter. "The team certainly deserve recognising for the tremendous energy and the love that they put into feeding and looking after vulnerable people.” Click here for customer comments. |
